January Blues Festival 2027 presents Dr. Feelgood with Eddie & The Hot Rods. DJ: Snowboy. 21 January 2027 at 7:00 pm at 229 London.
Formed on Canvey Island in Essex in the early 1970s, Dr. Feelgood have become a popular live rhythm 'n' blues act. They have enjoyed a string of hit singles in many countries including Milk & Alcohol, Down at the Doctors, Roxette, She's a Wind Up and See You Later Alligator. The current line-up of the band is led by drummer Kevin Morris, and features Gordon Russell on lead guitar, Phil Mitchell on bass and vocalist Robert Kane. Eddie & The Hot Rods began in 1976. They had three hit albums and four Top 40 UK singles, including the Top 10 hit Do Anything You Wanna Do. They have toured alongside the Ramones, Tom Petty, The Police, Squeeze and Talking Heads. Host and DJ is Snowboy, playing original blues 45s and more.
