Info
Puma Blue brings his new chapter to Village Underground, London, on 28 May 2026. South London-born and now Atlanta-based, Jacob Allen pushes his alias into starker territory with Croak Dream, a set of songs that stare down mortality while leaning into trip‑hop pulse, dub techno haze, jungle inflections and stripped electronic textures. Lead single Desire set the blueprint: written alone in a hotel room, its guitar was captured straight to a phone and kept raw. That grainy, tactile sound now collides with lucid, dream‑like layers, a bolder approach born from playing with whatever’s at hand and letting imperfections speak. The lyrics stay close to the skin — a lover calling another to bed — riding rhythms that skip and bruise. On stage, his weightless voice and wide dynamics meet a tight band that stretches the edges of these new tracks.
Tony Njoku joins the bill. The London-based artist blends experimental electronics with intimate songwriting, shifting between ambient hush and skewed grooves, voice forward and expressive — a complementary counterpart to Puma Blue’s nocturnal moods.
