Picture This

Picture This play Edinburgh Corn Exchange in Edinburgh on 13 November 2026. Formed in 2015 in Athy, County Kildare, the Irish quartet grew from Ryan Hennessy and Jimmy Rainsford’s home recordings into a full band with Owen Cardiff on guitar and Cliff Deane on bass. The breakthrough came with Take My Hand, followed by an eponymous EP in 2016 and a run of albums that mapped their shift toward a sleek pop-rock sound: Picture This (2017), MDRN LV (2019), Life in Colour (2021) and Parked Car Conversations (2024).

On stage, the focus is melody and direct storytelling. Hennessy’s voice sits upfront over tight drums and bright guitar lines, moving between mid-tempo grooves and sharper, uptempo cuts. The lyrics circle relationships, everyday moments and the doubts that creep in, with choruses that stick without overplaying the drama. Expect a set that threads early favorites with newer tracks, balancing ballads and punchier songs, and keeping the energy close to the four-piece’s core: clean hooks, clear writing, no frills.
