Cassia bring their groove-led indie pop to Wylam Brewery, Newcastle upon Tyne, on 4 November 2026. Formed in Macclesfield, the trio shape a sound where clean guitars and nimble percussion meet lightly tropical rhythms and bittersweet melodies. First noticed through singles and EPs, they pushed further with Replica (2019) and Why You Lacking Energy? (2022), two records that tighten the songwriting while keeping the direct pulse of their early days.

On stage, Cassia lean into light, dancing grooves and a soft vocal line that carries a more introspective tint. The arrangements breathe, with details that reflect years of touring across the UK and Europe and a taste for wider, more textured production. Travel and movement thread through their songs, both in the themes they explore and in the way they fold rhythmic warmth into alternative pop and very British songwriting.
