Nights Like This Tour 2026 lands in London on 8 May 2026 at The O2, uniting Ne-Yo and Akon for a night shaped by two distinct paths through R&B, pop and club music.
Ne-Yo first made his mark as a songwriter before stepping forward with In My Own Words in 2006, then Because of You and Year of the Gentleman. His writing focuses on relationships and smooth mid-tempo melodies, folding hip-hop accents and pop choruses into an R&B core. Across Libra Scale, R.E.D., Non-Fiction, Good Man and Self Explanatory, he widened the palette with dance and electronic touches and collaborations across pop and rap, while continuing to pen songs for voices like Rihanna, Beyoncé and Jennifer Hudson.
Akon, born in St. Louis and raised between New Jersey and Senegal, broke through with Trouble in 2004, followed by Konvicted and Freedom. Singer, writer and producer, he moved from R&B and hip-hop toward pop and European dance influences, then reconnected more directly with African rhythms on El Negreeto and Akonda in 2019. His catalogue bridges afro-pop, contemporary R&B and club-ready grooves.
Together on stage, they bring two repertoires built on melody, hooks and rhythm.
