Info
On 21 September 2026 at Concorde 2 in Brighton, King King bring their Scottish blues rock to the stage, fronted by brothers Alan and Stevie Nimmo. Centered on Alan’s gravelly vocals and guitar work, the band tucks sturdy riffs into warm Hammond textures, with soul-tinged harmonies and melodies that stick. Formed in Glasgow, they’ve built a catalogue that balances muscle and finesse: from Take My Hand and Standing in the Shadows to Reaching for the Light, Exile & Grace and Maverick, each release hones a direct, song-first approach designed to breathe live.
In concert, King King keep it clear and unadorned. Slow-burn ballads share space with riff-led cuts; guitar-and-organ dialogues drive the groove, then open up for choruses built to be sung back. The dynamics do the talking: tight rhythms, expressive solos, and hooks that carry the room without overstatement. Blues roots, flashes of soul and a melodic rock edge converge in a set that moves with purpose and leaves room for feel. A straight-ahead night of songs, played by a band that knows exactly where to place every note, at Concorde 2.
