On 1 June 2026, The Deaf Institute in Manchester welcomes ivri, a project shaped online before stepping into view. At 15, ivri began posting snippets on Instagram; the voice then travelled through tracks by beatmakers and producers, before a first run of official releases at the end of 2020. Early on, the project kept the face out of frame; what stayed front and centre was the sound.

Between atmospheric pop, ambient drift and gentle electronics, ivri builds songs around texture and slow-motion melodies. The vocals are hushed and close, carrying an introspective writing that turns to spirituality, the universe and mental health. The frame stays minimal and contemplative, leaving space for details and small shifts.

Live, that approach becomes a set built on nuance: patient tempos, soft synths and a voice kept upfront. A path traced through digital circulation, sample-led collaborations and a gradual assertion of identity places ivri within a bedroom pop and melancholic electronic wave shaped by the internet, ready to unfold at The Deaf Institute on 1 June 2026.
