Bears In Trees

Bears In Trees bring their South London indie, emo and pop rock blend to The 1865 in Southampton on 22 May 2026. Formed in 2014, the four-piece splits writing and vocals between members, giving their live set a conversational swing and a shared perspective. The sound pivots on direct guitars, catchy melodies and introspective lyrics rooted in that messy step between youth and adulthood, with a pop punk undertow.

Their path runs from early DIY releases and the album Just Five More Minutes, through the EPs I See Blue, I Want To Feel Chaotic and Keep Me Safe, then the double single Flower Through Concrete and the 2021 full-length and everybody else smiled back, to the 2024 release How to Build an Ocean: Instructions. On stage they move between new songs and earlier staples, trading leads and leaning into storytelling, shaped by tours across the UK, Europe and North America alongside acts like Just Friends, NOAHFINNCE and You Me at Six.
