Born out of Soul Train in mid-70s Los Angeles, the group moved from a studio project to a vocal outfit blending disco, funk and R&B with tight harmonies and crisp club rhythms. From Uptown Festival and Disco Gardens through Big Fun and Three for Love, then Friends and The Look, their sound traced the shift from late-seventies dancefloor heat to early-eighties electronics, with choreography that helped street dance make waves in the UK.

On stage, the set dips into the catalogue that shaped their journey: sleek funk workouts, slow jams and singles like A Night to Remember, I Can Make You Feel Good, There It Is and The Second Time Around.
