Cassia

Cassia play Rescue Rooms, Nottingham, on 6 November 2026. Formed in Macclesfield, the trio shape an indie pop sound threaded with pop rock and rhythmic ideas borrowed from African and tropical music. On stage, clear guitars and supple percussion lay down light, dancing grooves, while a soft voice pulls the songs toward something more introspective. That balance gives the set an easy flow without forcing the effect.

The show draws on the band’s early singles and EPs as well as their two albums, Replica (2019) and Why You Lacking Energy? (2022). Arrangements stretch a little wider live, with crisp guitar figures, percussive breaks and bass lines that carry the melodies rather than crowd them. Travel and the road run through the lyrics and the pace, shaping songs that move between warmth and restraint without losing focus.
