Def Leppard

Def Leppard bring their Sheffield-forged hard rock to The O2, London on 2 July 2026. Born out of the late-70s New Wave of British Heavy Metal, the band steered toward a more melodic edge with layered guitars and choral hooks. Joe Elliott leads on vocals with Rick Savage on bass, while Rick Allen’s singular drumming drives the pulse. The twin-guitar team of Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell façonnes the riffs and harmonies.

On stage, the set spans the catalogue: early cuts from On Through the Night and High ’n’ Dry, carefully arranged songs from Pyromania and Hysteria, then Adrenalize and Slang through to the self-titled album and Diamond Star Halos. Sing-along moments land on titles like Photograph, Animal, Love Bites or Pour Some Sugar on Me, balanced with rougher riff-led passages and newer material worked into the flow.

Touring steadily for decades and inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, Def Leppard still play with an ear for melody and punch. This date brings that blend back to London, centered on songs, harmonies and guitar interplay.
