The Lemon Twigs, the New York band led by brothers Brian and Michael D’Addario, fuse rock, California harmonies, power pop and baroque pop into a cohesive sound shaped by tight vocal arrangements and 60s–70s influences. Nearly a decade on from their teenage debut, they write with a seasoned sense of structure and a fondness for tempo changes and melodic detail. On stage, the duo alternate between guitar, drums, bass and keys within an expanded lineup, moving with ease from uptempo bursts to measured ballads.
Their discography maps this range: Do Hollywood (2016) and the EP Brothers of Destruction (2017) on 4AD, the narrative-driven Go to School (2018), a more direct approach on Songs for the General Public (2020), then Everything Harmony (2023) and A Dream Is All We Know (2024) on Captured Tracks. They play on 24 May 2026 at Boiler Shop in Newcastle upon Tyne.
