The Lemon Twigs

Long Island brothers Brian and Michael D'Addario bring The Lemon Twigs' 60s/70s-leaning pop rock to Manchester Academy, Manchester, on 30 May 2026. Raised in a musical family and active early on stage and screen, the pair forged a sound built on tight harmonies, sudden tempo shifts and dense melodic writing. From the debut Do Hollywood (2016) and the mini-LP Brothers of Destruction, through the narrative curve of Go to School (2018) and the more direct Songs for the General Public (2020), their path moves from vintage references toward streamlined songwriting. With Everything Harmony (2023) and A Dream Is All We Know (2024), they lean into melancholic pop rich in ballads and layered vocals, while keeping a clear power-pop pulse.

On stage, the brothers rotate between guitar, bass, drums and keys, supported by a full band. The set blends stacked harmonies, hooks that nod to classic pop and dynamic shifts that keep the music in motion, sliding from jangly surges to slow-burn laments without losing focus.
