Jack White plays The Prospect Building in Bristol on August 28, 2026. Born in Detroit as John Anthony Gillis, he first came to notice with The White Stripes, a duo whose lean garage and blues approach put riffs and economy at the center. After the group ended, he split his time between The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather and a solo path opened by Blunderbuss, followed by Lazaretto, Boarding House Reach, Fear of the Dawn and Entering Heaven Alive, then No Name in 2024. From his base in Nashville and through Third Man Records, he keeps broadening the frame: raw rock, folk, country and soul colors, with a steady thread drawn from American blues.
