Info
Foy Vance brings the Wake World Tour to The Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh on 17 October 2026. Raised between Northern Ireland and the American South, he blends British folk with traces of soul and gospel, pairing a direct guitar style with a weathered, expressive voice. His catalogue runs from the early contours of Hope (2007) and the sharpened writing of Joy of Nothing (2013) to the wider horizons of The Wild Swan (2016) on Gingerbread Man Records. In 2019 he leaned into southern soul and americana with the companion records From Muscle Shoals and To Memphis, then balanced introspective ballads and melodic pop on Signs of Life (2021). Also a collaborator and touring partner for various artists, Vance brings that road-tested craft to songs that pivot between confession and collective release. The Wake World Tour draws on this body of work, reconnecting with roots influences while leaving room for fresh turns, in an intimate, songwriter-led format built for close listening.
