Walter Trout brings his seasoned blues-rock to KK’s Steel Mill, Wolverhampton, on Tuesday 13 October 2026. Rooted in electric Chicago blues and 60s rock, the US guitarist and singer first made his mark with Canned Heat and John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers before building a solo path where groove, slow-burn ballads and road-shaped stories meet. On stage, he lets the guitar lead: singing sustain, elastic bends and extended dialogue with a tight band that can shift from a simmer to a punchy riff in a breath. The set draws across his catalogue, folds in a nod or two to the tradition, and keeps his lived-in voice at the centre.
Leoni Jane Kennedy joins the bill to open the night. Her guitar-driven songs lay out clean lines and close-up detail, setting the room before Trout turns the heat up. Two approaches to the same pulse, shared in the same space: the blues as it moves, breathes and keeps time at KK’s Steel Mill on 13 October 2026.
