Lake Street Dive and Mamas Gun land at Albert Hall, Manchester on 24 October 2026. Lake Street Dive have shaped a pop sound fed by soul, jazz and folk, built on tight harmonies and agile grooves. Fronted by Rachael Price with Bridget Kearney, Mike Calabrese, Akie Bermiss and James Cornelison, the band moves through songs that balance melody and pulse, from Bad Self Portraits and Side Pony to Obviously. Their 2024 album Good Together, Grammy-nominated, extends their take on joyful, clear-eyed songwriting about the present, keeping connection and singalong energy at the heart of their live set.
Mamas Gun bring London-bred soul with 70s R&B echoes, guided by singer-guitarist Andy Platts. Their writing leans on layered vocals, supple rhythms and pop-forward hooks with soft-rock hues. From Routes to Riches and The Life and Soul to Golden Days and Cure the Jones, the catalogue spans ballads, mid-tempos and funk-tinged tracks shaped on stage as much as in the studio. Paired with Lake Street Dive, the night draws a straight line between songcraft and groove, where harmonies lead the way and the rhythm section keeps it moving.
