OUTBURST lands in Milan on 4 August 2026 at Circolo Magnolia with two names that have defined contemporary hardcore: The Ghost Inside and Terror. The Ghost Inside, formed in Los Angeles in 2004, blend metalcore and melodic hardcore, combining tight rhythms with more atmospheric passages. After a forced hiatus and a comeback that returned them to the centre of the scene, the 2024 album Searching for Solace confirms a sound that balances impact and melody, driven by Jonathan Vigil’s voice and choruses designed for collective sing-alongs. Terror, an LAHC outfit fronted by Scott Vogel, delivers direct, compact hardcore built on heavy riffs, fast tempos and essential breakdowns — a tried-and-true formula honed through years of touring and records up to Pain Into Power (2022).
Opening the bill is a lineup that spans metalcore, hardcore and more extreme offshoots: Lastelle with emotionally-tinged post-hardcore; Defamed operating in technical deathcore territory; Never Obey Again navigating between alternative metal and electronic infusions; Dead//Fall focused on straight-ahead groove and no-frills breakdowns; Summer Hailstorm delivering taut, immediate metalcore.
A one-off date that brings the varied faces of today’s heavy sound to the same stage.
