Apparat - Milan

Apparat returns to Milan: on 15 April 2026 at Alcatraz, Sascha Ring will perform live the first tracks from “A Hum Of Maybe,” his forthcoming album. With his band, he sharpens what has distinguished him for years: an electronic sound that intertwines ambient, IDM and techno pulses, open to melodies and voices treated as instruments. From the club-oriented early records to more melodic and introspective works, up to LP5, his trajectory has been a constant search for space and dynamics. On stage, production details and atmospheric textures become physical matter, with loops that break apart and guitars, synths and percussion that breathe. Also active with Moderat and in music for film and theatre, Ring uses the live format to shift tracks, stretch them, deform them and let them grow. In Milan he will present unreleased material alongside pieces from his catalogue, reimagined for the ensemble. A concert to hear up close Apparat’s new direction before the record is released.
