On 14 October 2026 The Subways play at the Garage in Saarbrücken. The trio from Hertfordshire have been blending indie rock, garage and melodic punk since the early 2000s. With their debut Young for Eternity and the single “Rock & Roll Queen” they made their first mark; All or Nothing sharpened the edges in 2008 without sacrificing the guitars’ immediacy. Later albums like Money and Celebrity and the self-titled The Subways pushed bigger choruses and pop sensibility forward, before Uncertain Joys (2023) introduced keyboards and more introspective themes. Today Billy Lunn and Charlotte Cooper take the stage with drummer Camille Phillips as a compact power trio: dry riffs, tight interplay and hooks that work live. The set mixes early favourites with new material and showcases the range between raw energy and finer textures — direct, edgy and focused on what has always carried their songs: melody, drive and a clear pulse.
