Black Label Society, founded in Los Angeles in 1998 by guitarist and singer Zakk Wylde, will bring their mix of heavy metal, classic hard rock and Southern nuances to the Garage in Saarbrücken on 30 June 2026. Wylde, long-time sideman of Ozzy Osbourne, shapes the sound and the songs, usually in a four-piece lineup with the recurring bass support of John DeServio. Since their debut Sonic Brew (1999), powerful riffs, mid‑tempo grooves and extended solos have been at the center; albums such as The Blessed Hellride (2003), Mafia (2005) and Doom Crew Inc. (2021) have sharpened this signature. Live, the band alternates between fast numbers, darker moods and nearly acoustic passages, driven by a rough yet melodic voice that combines classic metal, a blues sensibility and a contemporary guitar tone.
