On 18 July 2026, Night II of the Unreal Summer Weekenders will take over the JunkYard in Dortmund. On the bill are masked identities, high tempos and edgy textures — a night that brings together various strands of techno and clubby electronics.
KLOUD presents a masked project that builds its sets exclusively from its own productions — closer to a live format than to a traditional DJ set. The focus: hard, direct techno tracks with insistent percussion, abrasive textures and a penchant for gritty ’90s sounds. The result is a precise, dark sonic architecture in which industrial drive and club-ready arrangements are tightly interwoven, supported by a coherent visual framework.
From Berlin, Afem Syko delivers a blend at the intersections of techno, drum’n’bass and trance. The tendency: taut rhythms, dark surfaces and melodic rises that disregard strict genre boundaries. Dense club energy, clear transitions and deliberate tempo shifts structure the sets and productions.
Neon Graveyard, anonymous and the head behind the Wahn label, links fast tempos with early-2000s hardgroove, Schranz and trance motifs — with nods to hardcore and breakbeat. The tracks aim for impact: punchy bass, unstable synths, compact percussion and deliberate shifts in density bridge rave codes and today’s club sound.
AEREA represents techno from Spain and adds direct drive to the lineup. Nikolina, a DJ from Berlin, completes the bill.
