Ben l'Oncle Soul

On November 14, 2026, at La Luciole in Alençon, Ben l'Oncle Soul opens a new chapter on stage. Breakout artist in 2010, the singer from Tours has since broadened his musical range to encompass soul, reggae, funk and contemporary R&B. Driven by increasingly personal songwriting, he arrives with Sad Generation, an album crafted with multi-instrumentalists, featuring a rawer sound focused on groove and beatmaking.

On the bill is a setlist that links his beginnings to his more recent projects: Jamaican flashes from Red Mango (2022), neo-soul textures from Is It You? (2023), echoes of his reinterpretations of Sinatra, and new tracks that put his voice front and center. Independently, via his label Enchanté, Ben fine-tunes a direct aesthetic designed for live performance, with arrangements that breathe and a choral sensibility inherited from gospel.

On stage he cultivates intimacy and lets the rhythm lead, alternating between French and English, hushed ballads and more urgent grooves. A concert to take the pulse of his current evolution: a contemporary soul that reinvents itself without losing its signature.
