Club Sat x EAF x Good Shows: Moin

On May 21, 2026 at 11:30 pm at Société des arts technologiques [SAT] in Montreal, presented in collaboration with EAF and Good Shows, Club SAT hosts an evening at the crossroads of experimental rock, post-punk, and electronic textures, featuring the London-based band Moin and, opening the night, the New York trio Sediment Club.

Centered around Tom Halstead and Joe Andrews (from the duo Raime), alongside percussionist Valentina Magaletti, Moin crafts a raw sound where alt-rock, art-rock, doom, and improvisation collide. With abrasive riffs, visceral percussion, and reconstructed sonic fragments, the band blurs the lines between live performance and electronic music techniques.

New York trio Sediment Club will kick off the evening with their blend of rhythm and noise. The band is driven by Austin Sley Julian, Lazar Bozic, and Jackie McDermott, and explores distortion and experimentation. Their no-wave performance sets the tone for a night devoted to the fringes of rock and experimental forms.
