Info

On 12 September 2026, Hudson Freeman plays The Workman’s Club in Dublin. Raised between the Dallas suburbs and Eswatini in a missionary family, he started writing early to claim his own voice. That impulse shapes a lofi folk approach: close-mic vocals, home recordings with a deliberate grain, and an indie rock undertow influenced by Sufjan Stevens, Bon Iver and Pedro the Lion. After a first self-released EP in 2016, A Man, One Day, he moved from Springfield, Missouri to Brooklyn and kept tracing themes of faith, doubt, fragile friendships and the search for bearings.

The 2021 album I AM All the Ages I’ve Ever Been marked a shift in tone and scope. is a folk artist, released in spring 2025, continues that thread, looking at belief, belonging and online anxiety with sparse arrangements and careful layering. On stage, he brings these chapters together, alternating hushed guitar figures and rough-edged textures. Recent release if you know Me, paired with a cover of Wild Horses, sketches his current palette and signals a set built on intimacy, detail and a steady pulse.
