Thirty Seconds to Mars Presents « A Beautiful Lie vs This Is War »

Thirty Seconds to Mars will bring their special “A Beautiful Lie vs This Is War” show to the ZAG Arena in Hannover on April 20, 2027. The U.S. band led by brothers Jared and Shannon Leto puts two chapters of its history in dialogue: the breakthrough represented by A Beautiful Lie and the more open, experimental phase of This Is War. On the setlist, songs like The Kill, From Yesterday and A Beautiful Lie will stand opposite Kings and Queens, Closer to the Edge and This Is War.

Since 1998 the group has blended alternative rock, grand choruses and electronic textures; with these two albums they sharpened a sound that is particularly effective live. The evening’s concept plays on contrasts: melodic guitars and compact hooks from the A Beautiful Lie era set against the broader arrangements, chants and percussive power of This Is War. Jared Leto’s vocals, Shannon’s drumming and dense layers drive the dynamic arc; between energetic eruptions and quieter passages, the band retraces the development of those years.
