On May 16, Madrid welcomes Rave en tu idioma to Gilda Club with a program that spotlights the current intersection of indie dance, dark disco and house.

Born in Mexico, the project has grown into an active platform within the international circuit, functioning more as a point of connection between scenes than as a closed-event format.

For this edition, the approach is clear: to pair artists with an established track record in the scene with a new generation that is redefining the language of the club.

Line-up

Álvaro Cabana

Active since the late ’90s, he is part of Madrid’s clubbing fabric. Residencies at Coppelia, Rubble, Mondo Disko and Sport, and a sustained output on Rotten City Records (25+ releases) have served as both archive and motor for a hybrid scene between electro, disco and house.

Diego Montiel

Two decades of activity between Buenos Aires and Barcelona. He has built his own ecosystem through This Side UP Club, the Side UP Works label and the BeSide School academy, maintaining a constant presence on European line-ups and sharing bills with well-established names in the circuit.

Nau Leone

Part of a generation that responds more to narrative than to rigid genres. Through Be Your Own Studio, his work moves between album format (3 LPs) and the crafting of on‑floor experiences, with visibility on platforms like Beatport and a more conceptual approach within the Madrid context.

Esquivel

Affiliated with Phisica and Rave en tu idioma, his recent trajectory includes clubs such as Sisyphos and KitKat Club, with an approach that combines classic club structures with a more restrained, psychedelic aesthetic.
