On 30 December 2026, Magtens Korridorer bring their Danish guitar rock back to Vega in Copenhagen. Formed in the mid-90s Copenhagen scene, the band carved out a place with songs sung in Danish, sitting between alternative grit, punk energy and direct pop melodies. Fronted by the distinctive voice of Johan Olsen, they moved from the raw edge of their 1998 debut to the punch of Friværdi and Transmission in the 2000s, then toward a darker, more introspective tone on Imperiet falder and Før alting bliver nat, without losing the sing-along choruses that fuel their concerts. More recent releases like Større end os and Club Promise keep things lean: quick-hitting riffs, and lyrics grounded in everyday life, relationships and urban tensions.
