If even Mérou is changing gender, why not Lou? At birth, Lou’s family and the doctors decided Lou would be a woman—and Lou disagrees. With humor, Lou recounts their personal story of transition: from starting testosterone, through striptease, to the discovery of the queer world.
Lou thus echoes questions we all ask ourselves: are we obliged to be what we were told to be? Can we reinvent our bodies, our relationship to love? Could we then rewrite our own story?
