On November 7, 2026, Den Atelier in Luxembourg brings together a metalcore bill led by Currents and Erra, joined by Caskets and Aviana. The lineup plays on contrasts—between rhythmic density, clean melodies and darker atmospheres.
Currents, formed in Connecticut, work a progressive-tinged metalcore that alternates screamed and clean vocals, staccato riffs and more airy passages. From their early EPs to The Death We Seek (2023), the band has honed a balance of aggression, melodic textures and electronic touches, with recurring themes of introspection and loss of bearings. On stage their set relies on sharp breaks and carefully shaped dynamics.
Erra, originally from Alabama, fit within progressive metalcore driven by technical guitars, crafted song structures and a constant ebb and flow between tension and more ethereal sections. Around Jesse Cash, the band pushes a pronounced melodic side without relinquishing the weight of the heavy passages, a direction recently extended on Cure (2024).
From Leeds, Caskets lean toward melodic metalcore, fuelled by sung choruses and lush synth layers. Anchored by Matt Flood’s clean vocals, the group combines percussive riffs with a strong sense of hook, from Lost Souls (2021) to Reflections (2023).
Swedish band Aviana completes the evening with modern metalcore characterized by dense textures and emphatic grooves, crafted to pave the way for a progressive rise in intensity.
