Info
JayO, an artist and producer of Nigerian origin who grew up in north London, moves between afrobeats, R&B and afro-pop. First noticed with “XO” and then “22,” which entered the UK charts, he has also opened up to the Francophone scene through his contribution to Aya Nakamura’s latest album, Tralala. In 2026 he returned with “History,” a duet with Jordan Adetunji, continuing a hybrid sound at the intersection of the UK and Afro scenes.
On 18 June 2026 at La Place in Paris, JayO played his first concert in the capital. On stage he delivers R&B hooks, afrobeats grooves and direct choruses, drawing on his standout tracks from “XO” and “22” to “History.” Expect a melodic, rhythmic set with arrangements crafted for live performance and a voice at the forefront, balancing tenderness and a club-like pulse. It’s an opportunity to grasp the breadth of a repertoire that ranges from intimate singing to dancefloor energy, without losing the thread of its melodies.
