Migrant Birds presents: Chancha Via Circuito, Analog Africa, Amuleto Manuela & Dj Magréo

On 6 June 2026 Migrant Birds takes over the Gretchen in Berlin — a night along the Afro–Latin American route, carried by rhythm, groove and deeply rooted sounds.

Chancha Via Circuito [Argentina], aka Pedro Canale from Buenos Aires, blends digital cumbia, downtempo and South American folklore. He lays slow, hypnotic rhythms over drifting textures, mixes voices and percussion, and thus builds bridges between tradition and contemporary production — for a set that moves between the dance floor and contemplative moments.

Analog Africa [Tunisia/Germany]: The label founded by Samy Ben Redjeb presents a DJ set full of rare pressings and archival finds. Funk and soul meet local styles from Benin, Somalia, Cameroon and Cape Verde; each record sketches scenes from a golden era and brings the groove of the archives into the present.

Amuleto Manuela [Colombia], now based in Berlin, plays predominantly vinyl as a DJ and selector. Her fluid mixes weave Latin American folklore with today’s club rhythms: music of the African diaspora, Afro-Latin funk, soul, disco, boleros, cumbias, samba and guaguancó — always danceable and chosen with respect.

DJ Magrão [Brazil], Ricardo Magrão from São Paulo, moved from guitar and bass to the decks in the 1990s. His vinyl sets cross classics, rarities and personal discoveries from reggae, dancehall and Brazilian styles.
