Ben l'Oncle Soul - Tournée

On November 6, 2026, Ben l’Oncle Soul will perform at Le Gouvy in Freyming-Merlebach. A singer-songwriter who emerged in the late 2000s, Ben cultivates Francophone soul nourished by R&B, gospel and pop. From the covers on Soul Wash (2009) to his eponymous debut album (2010), he established a strong sense of groove and catchy hooks. With À coup de rêves (2014) he broadened his songwriting toward chanson, then turned to jazz in 2016 with Under My Skin, a dive into Frank Sinatra’s repertoire and big-band aesthetics. He then took a more intimate, contemporary turn: Addicted to You (2020) and Is It You? (2023) lean toward neo-soul and R&B, often in English, without losing his vocal signature or his taste for choral backing. On stage, Ben moves between soulful energy, jazz subtleties and hip-hop touches, with ensembles that evolve to serve the arrangements. Between standout tracks, reinterpretations and recent material, the set builds bridges between classic soul and current sounds, carried by supple rhythms and direct melodies.
