Ruel returns to Paris on 17 October 2026 at La Machine du Moulin Rouge with his Kicking & Screaming tour. A British-Australian singer-songwriter, he has crafted a contemporary pop sound tinged with soul and R&B since his debut, where voice and songwriting take centre stage. From the early EPs Ready, Free Time and Bright Lights, Red Eyes to 4th Wall in 2023, he has consolidated a repertoire that blends ballads, mid-tempo numbers and alternative pop. In 2025, Kicking My Feet opened a two-part project, extended in June 2026 by Kicking My Feet & Screaming. His recent singles point to a sharpened production without losing the introspective edge: Don't Say That, produced by Joel Little, and Hate Myself, produced by Kenny Beats, herald a setlist in which new tracks and signature songs answer one another.
As the opening act, American Sadie Jean creates a more stripped-back atmosphere, with soft, foregrounded vocals supported by piano and guitar. Breakout with "WYD Now?" and confirmed by "Locksmith," she offers intimate songwriting focused on vulnerabilities, friendships and the early steps of adulthood. An ideal lead-in to Ruel’s broader sonic world.
