From 1936 to 2026, explore 90 years of evolution in writing through the emblematic heritage of the typewriter. The second exhibition in the 'Machine arrière' series is devoted to the typewriter. It invites you to travel back in time to 1936 and to trace the history in reverse—from keyboards to typewriters. It once again testifies to the link between innovations and political and social contexts, offering a deep dive into the daily life of typists.
