Exposition permanente - Le plateau des Collections

Info

On January 1, 2026, at 9:30 a.m., the permanent exhibition offers a journey to the heart of the cultures of Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas through nearly 3,500 works from the collections of the Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac.

Organized according to these major geographic horizons and regularly renewed, the works form a living landscape where artistic forms, knowledge and imaginaries from around the world intersect.

Throughout this passage, several spaces extend the discovery. Three mezzanines are devoted to temporary exhibitions and to the Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière donation: the Galerie Germain Viatte, the Atelier Martine Aublet and the Galerie Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière. Other areas invite singular experiences: the “Graphic Arts Box” presents displays of works drawn from the museum’s collections of drawings, photographs and prints, while the “Music Box” showcases the creations of the artists awarded the sound residency program.
