Return to Dust

The Los Angeles quartet Return to Dust lands at Pan Piper in Paris on July 6, 2026. Formed by Matty Bielawski (guitar, vocals), Graham Stanush (bass, vocals), Sebastian Gonzalez (guitar) and London Hudson (drums), the band draws a clear line between alternative rock and ’90s grunge, with heavy riffs, dense rhythms and dark harmonies.

Recorded in Los Angeles with producer Jim Kaufman, their self-titled debut album, released in 2024, set the scene, propelled by the single "Belly Up." In 2025, the EP Speak Like the Dead extended that trajectory with a more direct sound, blending thick guitars and catchy melodies in a vein that embraces Alice in Chains’ legacy while updating it.

On stage, Return to Dust plays tight, tense and no-nonsense. After major US festivals and tours supporting Chevelle and Sevendust, the band arrives in Paris with a set drawn from the album and the latest EP. It’s an opportunity to hear live the range of their modern grunge and the energy of a quartet that moves resolutely forward, guitar at the forefront.
