It’s reassuring — a new Wampas album, even comforting, like the scent of a madeleine. Exactly forty years after their first album, Tutti Frutti, the band led by Didier releases the fifteenth chapter of its story. Its title: Where Are We Going? One detects a temporary despondency that gives way to a certain agitation, as if there’s an immediate need to wake up and let off steam. It’s energetic and serves as an introduction to this new album. The time to return has come; the Wampas are back.
