On 3 November 2026 a razor-sharp double bill lands at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht: Carpenter Brut + HEALTH. Carpenter Brut, the French project of producer Franck Hueso, pushes synthwave toward metal and the club, with aggressive synths, taut rhythms and a fondness for ’80s horror. Live it’s a tightly orchestrated trip: material from TRILOGY rubs up against the glam undertones of Leather Teeth and the darker, more metal-oriented streak of Leather Terror. Expect compact hooks, driving drums and visuals that accelerate the pace, somewhere between arcade fever and stadium energy.
HEALTH comes from the Los Angeles DIY scene around The Smell and blends noise rock, industrial electronics and dark pop into a physical, cinematic sound. The trio of Jacob Duzsik, John Famiglietti and Benjamin Jared Miller work with pulsing beats, saturated textures and ethereal vocals. Tracks from Death Magic and Vol. 4: Slaves of Fear dovetail with their DISCO collaborations, where metal, electro and pop intersect. On stage this grows into tight patterns and controlled eruptions, with a tension arc that touches both club and mosh pit.
