Two Feet

On 16 August 2026 Two Feet will perform at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. Behind this name is New York singer‑guitarist and producer Bill Dess, who since the mid‑2010s has been carving out his own corner between downtempo electronica, trip‑hop and a stripped‑down, bluesy guitar. The breakthrough came with “Go Fuck Yourself” and the EPs First Steps and Momentum: heavy bass, slow beats and vocals that often glide half‑whispered over taut guitar lines. Live it’s about tension and detail, with a set that leans on groove, compact structures and brief guitar eruptions, without losing its intimacy.

With Pink (2020) Two Feet sharpened his austere songwriting and repetitive patterns; Max Maco Is Dead Right? (2021) introduced a fictional alter ego and a narrative layer; Shape & Form (2022) moved toward pop and lighter electronic textures, while the underlying melancholy remained. On stage those phases flow into one another: from brooding tracks to clear hooks, with the guitar and a tight low end always at the center. A concert in which beat, song and string together set the tone.
