La Coopérative de Mai presents: Heavy Lungs - Joe & The Shitboys
Heavy Lungs are on an intense sonic trajectory. 2025 marks the release of their second album, Caviar. The band has built a reputation on the power of their live shows, known for being sweaty and intense. They have shared the stage with IDLES, Oh Sees and Metz. Hailing from Bristol, Heavy Lungs have joined FatCat Records for an 11-track album, Caviar.
Joe & The Shitboys, a queer, vegan punk band, formed with the intention of denouncing certain behaviours in the Faroe Islands and continue that mission elsewhere today. Their shows are energetic, featuring songs often under a minute long—tracks like “Save The Planet You Dumb Shit,” “Life Is Great You Suck” and “If You Believe in Eating Meat Start With Your Dog”—interspersed with the singer interacting with the audience.
