Parra for Cuva

Berlin-based producer Nicolas Demuth, aka Parra for Cuva, brings his melodic electronic sound to The Mod Club in Toronto on November 14, 2026. Active since the early 2010s, he crafts music at the crossroads of deep house, downtempo and ambient. After a run of independent releases, his 2013 version of Wicked Games with Anna Naklab broadened his presence on the European club circuit. The debut album Majouré (2015) set a palette of supple rhythms, fine textures and contemplative harmonies, followed by the collaborative mini-album Darwīš with Senoy (2016). Paspatou (2018) and Juno (2021) leaned into repeating piano figures, treated guitars and motifs from different musical traditions, moving toward more narrative electronica. Mimose (2023) continued this blend of house structures, cinematic ambience and neo-classical touches. On stage, Parra for Cuva alternates pure electronic live and hybrid setups, building fluid sets that weave warm low end and melodic themes for a crowd that comes to dance as much as to listen.
