Magic System

Magic System celebrates its 30-year career and will be at Le Dôme in Marseille on 14 February 2027. Born in the late 1990s in Anoumabo, Abidjan, the quartet A’Salfo, Manadja, Goudé and Tino established a zouglou built on choral singing, everyday stories and rhythms made for dancing. On stage, the group unfolds this identity with a collective energy, driven by percussion, guitars and an afro-pop turn that has broadened its audience across albums.

This anniversary tour retraces a path between Ivory Coast, France and international stages. It includes the tracks that broke down barriers for zouglou in the early 2000s, starting with Premier Gaou, then the hits that followed such as Bouger Bouger and Magic in the Air, as well as songs drawn from Poisson d’avril, Un Gaou à Paris, Touté Kalé and Africainement vôtre. Between chorused refrains, direct, punchy lines and a driving dance pulse, Magic System remixes three decades of Ivorian sounds and urban influences for a return to their roots that also looks to the present.
