Magic System celebrates 30 years of career with an anniversary tour that stops at the Zénith de Caen on March 12, 2027. Born in Anoumabo, Abidjan, the quartet A’Salfo, Manadja, Goudé and Tino helped spread zouglou far beyond its borders before opening their sound to an African pop infused with afro-dance and urban music. With more than five million albums sold and over a billion views online, the group has engraved a number of lasting milestones in the collective memory, from “Premier Gaou” to “Bouger Bouger” and “Magic in the Air.”

On stage, Magic System delivers this blend of communal chants, direct slogans and rhythms designed for dancing, revisiting the classics while drawing from its more recent albums. The voices answer one another, the choruses are caught on the fly, and the pulse stays at the center—faithful to the zouglou matrix while making room for contemporary influences.
