Temples

Temples arrives at La Laiterie, Strasbourg, on 11 October 2026. Formed in Kettering, the British quartet brings together James Bagshaw on vocals and guitar, Thomas Walmsley on bass, Adam Smith on keyboards and guitars, and Rens Ottink on drums. Since their beginnings the band has refined a blend of psych-pop, krautrock and glam rock, marked by carefully crafted vocal harmonies and layered guitar textures.

With Bliss, their fifth album, Temples broaden their scope and introduce electronic textures without abandoning their core identity. Melodies drawn from late‑1990s dance music intersect with psychedelic‑tinged riffs and motorik pulses. On stage the band weaves a dense, fluid sound—bright synths, warm rounded basslines and emphatic rhythms—creating a journey that favors tonal color and dynamic contrast. The set promises a balance between new material and standout songs, driven by a direct melodic sense and precise arrangements.
