Westside Cowboy

On 30 October 2026, Westside Cowboy bring their Britainicana to the Helios 37 in Cologne. The British quartet — Reuben Haycocks, James Bradbury, Aoife Anson O’Connell and Paddy Murphy — rely on collective songwriting: expansive melodies, wiry guitars, a rough-edged finish. Between country, indie rock and art rock, the band finds a direct, unvarnished approach that gives their songs shape.

In January 2026 the EP So Much Country ’Till We Get There was released on Adventure Recordings (associated with Island Records), recorded in New York with producer Loren Humphrey. The new tracks sustain the tension between rock drive, folk-country hues and catchy choruses without imitating American templates. Live, Westside Cowboy show the rawer side of this material: more momentum, more friction, less ornamentation. Their profile was sharpened on a UK tour in early 2026, US dates in late 2025, and shared bills with Geese and Black Country, New Road; festivals like Glastonbury, Green Man and End of the Road have further grounded the sound. In Cologne, that focused, collectively played mix is at the center of attention.
