Info

Like a warm, sand-tinged wind that will sweep across the stage of the Cabaret Sauvage on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 5:30 PM for the Summer Festival, bringing the blues of Bombino and Kader Tarhanine.

• Bombino

Hailing from Agadez in Niger, guitarist and singer Bombino has played a major role in putting the Sahara on the global rock map with an electric, hypnotic desert blues deeply rooted in Tuareg culture. In a world where borders are closing, his music calls for unity and peace, alternating between acoustic ballads and unleashed, high-energy pieces. His electric guitar riffs echo rock icons such as Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page, to whom he is often compared for the intensity of his performances and the virtuosity of his playing. Bombino returns in 2026 with a new album.

• Kader Tarhanine

Since emerging on the scene in 2012, Kader Tarhanine has established himself as a voice of the new generation of Tuareg music. Born in Niger to Malian parents, he grew up in Tamanrasset, Algeria, in an environment steeped in the Tuareg oral tradition. His nomadic roots are felt in every note, while his music blends traditional rhythms with modern rock sonorities. Sung in Arabic and Sahelian languages, his compositions invite listeners on a journey to the heart of the desert.
