Modeselektor bring their Classic Live Set to Berlin: on 6 May 2026 at RSO.BERLIN. The duo of Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary, firmly rooted in Berlin’s electronic scene since the late ’90s, draw their energy from a hybrid aesthetic spanning techno, electro, IDM, hip‑hop and bass music. Their sound is characterised by abrupt tempo changes, powerful basslines and digital textures that are condensed live into a dense dramaturgy — more club than museum, with a focus on the present.

From their early years on BPitch Control come Hello Mom! (2005) and Happy Birthday! (2007), releases that carried Modeselektor to stages far beyond Berlin. With Monkeytown Records and sister label 50Weapons they created their own platform, through which Monkeytown (2011), Who Else (2019) and the Mixtape Extended (2021) were released. At the same time they ran Moderat with Apparat, alongside various collaborations — for example with Thom Yorke or European rappers. In their Classic Live Set Modeselektor bring these threads together: raw club tools, edgy edits and precisely placed vocals flow into a set that reconfigures their repertoire and aims squarely at the dancefloor.
