The Festival vol. 2 arrives on 29 August 2026 at NAR in Utrecht. The dancefloor is central, with a line-up built around DJs who construct stories with their sets. Hunee brings his eclectic take on house, disco, boogie, funk, soul and Afro influences — a mix of vintage finds and recent tracks, smooth and percussive, that interlock organically. Gerd Janson, long-time Robert Johnson resident and the driving force behind Running Back, shifts between house, disco, techno and electro, delivering tight rhythms, supple basslines and room for edits and unexpected turns.
In addition, David Vunk, Coco Coquelicot, Guus Christian, Doppelgang, Malou, Giulia Gutterer and Jeff Solo push the programme forward, each with their own approach to the floor. Expect a broad arc from house to disco, via techno and electro, where classics and contemporary cuts meet and the energy keeps circulating. NAR goes big while keeping it intimate: two sides of the same coin, a generous ode to the small room where everything comes together and the groove does the talking.
