About the Expeditions
The Expeditions series was founded in spring 2018 with the clear vision of breaking out of the monotony that defines most pure techno nights in Berlin. The concept is to create a distinct musical separation between the different parts of the night. We strive to deliver a clear beginning and a decisive end.

Expeditions focuses on the classic and traditional aspects of techno: from the Detroit groove to hypnotic, atmospheric storytelling, complemented by more contemporary interpretations of the genre.

We believe in techno as a journey meant for the dancefloor, not for podcasts. “If you stop moving, you start to die,” and that is why energy and movement are the common denominator of all Expeditions events and curations.

What to expect
- Power Deck: Well-curated interpretations of classic techno — from Detroit groove to hypnotic, atmospheric beats. No minimalism, no preaching.
- Speed Deck: Young, fresh, cheeky, and trance-tinged contemporary takes on techno.
- DJs on equal footing, a musically informed audience, and the Berlin underground.
